The beauty products I am currently lusting after

Since this year started I've really tried to be very frugal and stopped myself many times before buying new products. However, I am running out of a few things at the moment and I have a trip home coming up, which means a couple of hours at the airport and being able to buy cheaper beauty products. These 4 are top of my shopping list!

Their Superbalanced foundation was the first high end foundation I ever owned, and one I really enjoyed. Over the years Clinique has become a counter that I don’t stop by very often, perhaps taking it for granted. Their products are fragrance free and for me the gorgeous scent is part of the enjoyment of using all these potions and lotions.
However, this foundation really caught my eye, mostly because it looks like a multi-function product, something I always love. It can give you full coverage, but on a daily basis you can use it as a concealer just where you need it. I normally have two foundations: one very light for every day (Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua) and one which has more coverage for special occasions. The latter is normally Revlon’s Colorstay, which I have just run out of this weekend, so I think this will be its replacement, and in time probably be the only one I own.

I read a post by Kate at ghostparties today which mentioned a moisturiser by Weleda, and it just reminded me of how much I used to love this brand and how little you hear about it in the blogging world. Just like Dr Haushcka, Weleda products are made using organic products that are grown in a biodynamic way. They are harvested when they are at their absolute best. Despite this, their products aren’t that expensive at all, just a little bit harder to find on the high street. I’ve used this moisturiser before and it is fantastic. For the past couple of months I’ve been using one I don’t love, but I hate wasting products, so I have been sticking to it. I think it is time for it to find a better home (my mum really likes it!) and for me to rekindle my love for Weleda.

Another one of my favourite natural skincare brands is REN. I particularly like their radiance products, like the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and this Radiance Serum, which has Vitamin C. It is really good for looking after your skin in the spring and giving it a bit of oomph. It helps to even out your skin tone and give you radiance. What is not to like?

Under-eye concealers and I don’t get on well. Despite it being a product I use every day, I am yet to find one I love. I have read so much good stuff about this one from Clarins that the price tag is the only thing that has been putting me off it. Today I read yet another great review of it and I think I will use my next trip back home to buy it from the Duty Free at the airport.

    1. They are fantastic, aren't they? Their body oils are amazing too - I used to use the wild rose body oil and seabuckthorn, which was more citrussy. I think I need to get back into them again x
